One week later,

June opened the file in front of her as she scribbled some notes beside an error her secretary had made on the file, since the incident at the hospital she had not spoken to Hardin. She thought it best to keep her distance but she hoped he would call or send a message but neither happened over the week.

News of the wedding was still online and more pictures of Hardin and Emma were popping up on all social media platforms, the news didn't anger her, it was the comment left by viewers that angered her.

They were looking forward to the wedding and hashtag #HardinandEmma was trending online. She flipped the page trying hard to concentrate as a knock fell on the door followed by the landline phone on her desk ringing.

"Come in," she ordered before receiving the call on the landline. Yes, she said.

"Ma'am, I just wanted to inform you that Mr. Hardin Scott is heading to your office now, he insisted and in his condition…"
