I awoke at exactly four in the morning. Even if my brain was a little behind, my entire body was buzzing with excitement. I had to push myself to remember where I was by taking a quick look around.

Naturally, I was in Vegas, where I had just taken the title of Mrs. Baker. I had to immediately adjust to the idea. As a body shifted position next to me, I winced. It was Vincent, sleeping soundly.
