Chapter 31. Unexpected Visit

I struggled to conceal my disappointment. How was I supposed to extinguish this internal fire right now? I obeyed and carried out his instructions exactly.

I tried my best to present myself, even though the feel of the fabric against my skin made me uneasy. Taking Vincent’s advice, I tucked my underwear into my pocket.
