Chapter 100. The Warm Embrace

I was overwhelmed with emotion at that moment. I had never felt so much gratitude for someone before, and I knew in my heart that Riccardo had gone above and beyond to protect me. Not only that, but I looked up at him, and at that moment, something changed between us. Furthermore, I could see in his eyes that he felt the same way.

From then on, we both knew that there was something special between us. We both took a leap of faith and decided to explore our feelings, despite the danger that surrounded us. It was a risk, but it was one that we were both willing to take.

I have known Riccardo for as long as I can remember, and I can honestly say that he has been my rock throughout our lives in the mafia world. He has been a loyal friend and protector, and he has always put my safety above all else.
