Chapter 8. Me and My Baby

We arrived at his mansion, a grand building with tall gates and a large courtyard. It was nothing like Palermo’s mansion, and I could feel the difference in the air. Ezra showed me to my room, which was decorated with the finest furniture and luxurious fabrics. I was overwhelmed by the sight of it all.

Ezra then took me to his office, where he explained his plan for us. He wanted us to be together, and he wanted us to build a life together. I was hesitant, but I ultimately agreed to his plan.
