Chapter 13. Control Freak!

I was terrified, and I wanted to run away, but Ezra put his arm around me and said, “Don’t worry, Alessia. I won’t let him hurt you or your family. Furthermore, I will make sure that you are safe.”

Riccardo then said, “Fine, I won’t take her away from you, but if I ever catch her with you, I will make sure that her family will suffer.” With that, he turned around and left.

Ezra and I looked at each other and he smiled. He said, “Don’t worry, Alessia. I will make sure that you are safe and that your family is taken care of.”

I was relieved and I hugged him tightly. Furthermore, I knew that he would protect me and my family, no matter what. Furthermore, I was so lucky to have him in my life.
