Chapter 39. Kiss Means Yes
Cristine’s POV
I was currently eating my breakfast that was given to me by the hotel. I don’t know how long I need to stay here if I can just go back to our province and forget about Aron.
I heard a knock on the door, so I stood up to open it. I didn’t expect Aron’s face to show up on me so early this morning.
“Good morning,” he greeted, handing me a paper bag.
I looked at it and raised my eyebrow.
“It’s bread. And bread was partnered with coffee.” He raised his other hand to show me the coffee cup that he was holding.
“I’m already eating my breakfast.”
His smile vanished, and he put down his hands. But later on, he smiled again.
“I’m sorry about what happened yesterday, Cristine. I’m sorry about what happened to your sister; actually, I felt guilt that I did nothing. But I want to make it up to you,” he said.
“By what? With bread and coffee?” I rolled my eyes and was about to close the door when he stopped it.
