Chapter 47. Explosion

Cristine's POV

I was now running inside the mall. People are screaming, running, and even pushing each other just to get out of the mall.

From afar, I saw the group of terrorists holding guns. Their faces were covered with black cloth.

I hide behind the wall at the entrance and type a message to Lea.

To: Lea

Message: Send me backup here at the mall. The terrorists are here. Inform Chief Quartel.

After I sent it, I put my phone in my pocket and held my gun carefully.

People screamed when the terrorists shot their long guns. I peeked from where I am right now, and I saw them entering the jewelry store. Three guys stayed outside the door.

Those bastards—are they planning to get everything inside this mall?

"Mama." 

I heard the cry of a little girl. I roamed my eyes at my surroundings, and I saw a small figure wearing a pink dress. She was located in front of the female's CR beside the stairs, a few meters away from me.
