Chapter 41. Getting Married

Cristine's POV

I opened my eyes, and as I got up, I felt so much lighter than before. Last night was so good. We ate dinner and talked about each other all night, and he even drove me here to my hotel.

I got my phone beside the bed and checked the message box, but my smile vanished when I saw that he didn't send me a message today.

I immediately dialed his phone number, but it kept ringing. I tried it three times, but he wouldn't answer my calls.

"What's happening to him?" I asked myself, making up some fake scenarios in my mind.

After a while, I shook my head and released a sigh to relax my mind. I'm overthinking again; maybe he was just busy and taking care of something.

I stood up from the bed and did my morning routine. After that, I prepare myself to go to the nearby cafe with the remaining paperwork that I'll be working on. For the last time, I checked my phone again, but Aron still has no message.
