Chapter 55. Farewell

Cristine's POV

Our van stopped at the foot of the mountain. I got my gun and went outside.

The team gathered together in front of me as well as the group of police who were with us.

"Tonight, I can say that this is one of the big battles that we will face. I'm wishing for the safety of all. Stay alive, everyone," I said, lifting my gun.

"Let's go!" 

After that, we parted in three different ways. Lucka, Regar, and my group. Each of us was accompanied by police, and I'm hoping that our number was enough to win this battle.

We wore our night vision guggles and walked through the high grasses on our way. We were surrounded by huge trees; that's why we need to be more alert because terrorists might be hiding somewhere.

I'm with Alyana, Lea, and Aron. I'm the one who's leading our way.
