Aron's POV

"Are you sure you don't want to stay here?" Auntie Shasha asked Jannah.

I'm here inside the car with Mikaella, waiting for Jannah to get in. Today, we will be moving into the condo that I bought. I can no longer stay here at their mansion after I found out that they were hurting Ella.

I also thought about filing a child abuse case against them, but I also considered how Jannah would feel, so I decided it would be best to distance myself from them.

Jannah looked at me before she looked back at her mother and nodded. She hugged them both before she got in the front seat. I rolled up the window and started the engine.

"Where are we going now?" Mikaella asked in the back.

While driving, I looked at her in the rearview mirror and smiled.

"New home," I said.
