Chapter 56. Blame

Cristine's POV

"Farewell." 

"Hands up!"

We all looked at someone who spoke outside. It was Chief Quartel with some of my agents and his men.

"This warehouse was surrounded by our team. Even if you fight with us, no one can come out alive," he added.

I took the chance to grab Alyana's gun and kick her chest; she landed on the pavement.

When the terrorists were about to shoot me, I quickly ran to one of them and shot his arm before I used him as a shield. I saw my allies enter the huge room and started to fight.

I let go of the men that I was holding and fire to any enemy that I saw.

My eyes caught Alyana, who quickly stood up and ran away. I immediately followed her. I was chasing her in the hallway.

"Alyana! You can't escape from us!" I shouted.

She looked at me while running until she saw the dead guy we killed earlier. She got the gun from the dead terrorists and pointed it at me.
