Chapter 68. Anton's Secret
"Is there any lead about your mom?" Richard asked while he was sitting in the backseat of Aron's car, who was driving.
They were on their way to the headquarters. Aron decided to take his father to the agents even though he wasn't sure if they would agree for Richard to help them because he once became their target.
"Yeah, a guy whose name is Anton was the suspect that we were investigating right now," Aron answered.
Richard's eyebrows furrowed upon hearing the unfamiliar name.
"Who is Anton?"
Aron looked at him in the rearview mirror. Maybe that's the right time for him to know about his mom's boyfriend. He didn't know what Richard's reaction would be, but he told him anyway.
"He was mom's boyfriend—a live-in partner to be exact—because they were living at mom's condo unit." Aron looked at the rearview mirror to see Richard's reaction.
