"I'm sorry, but I'm not going to town," the truck driver said when he stopped the truck at the street.

He was going in the opposite direction of the town.

"It's okay, Mister. Thank you for the ride," Grace said, stepping out of the vehicle.

She requested to stop near the place where she had seen Cristine before. She hid the gun inside her back pocket and opened the light on her mobile phone.

She walked the distance from her position to the gate of the place. It was open, but she saw no light from afar.
