Chapter 31
I sat next to him, sighing again every time I gave the mafia bunch who were with the kids a close consideration. My thoughts were still filled with worry and terror about them.
"Damn, what should I do?" I cried out in agitation.
Holding my hand, the orphanage mother said, "Daughter, I know you must have many questions regarding what transpired at this orphanage. It's also time you learned the truth," in my opinion. He appeared to pause briefly before continuing, "I apologized for scaring me and making you come early." But, the orphanage mother added with remorse in her eyes, "I'm doing all this for someone who actually loves you."
"Wait, what do you mean that the mafia gang is not evil, and you were just ordered to write a letter full of tension to make me come to you?" I asked him as I scowled. I re-asked.
