Chapter 52

The sight of Hans sleeping in peace after I fed him was a relief to me. While he was asleep, I entered the kitchen with the unclean plates and food from the cupboard. Cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes are among the tasks I take on, but they're all minor.

"I will take good care of you. I will repay you for all of this because you are a man like Tony," I encouraged myself, imagining the many tasks ahead. Maintaining order in the kitchen necessitated my meticulous cleaning of dishes and utensils. My mind was consumed by thoughts of Hans and his condition while I was cleaning. I pray that he recovers quickly and returns to his healthy, strong self.

 "My intention is to have a cup of coffee. This would make my mind go away from what I was keeping hidden. I need time to calm down,” I said.

 While searching the cupboard for a cup, I looked for a cup to drink coffee from. In the corner of the cabinet, I surprisingly found a special glass.

 “This glass?"
