Carla's POV 

When the final verdict is announced, our team emerges victorious. A surge of elation washes over me as the applause and cheers fill the room. We embrace each other, a triumphant smile plastered across our faces. It's a moment of validation and accomplishment.

Julie and I find ourselves at a crossroads in our journey. The success we've achieved in the debating club has opened doors we never thought possible. Opportunities to participate in regional and even national tournaments present themselves, each one a chance to prove ourselves on a larger stage.

"Carla, we've come so far together," she says, her voice filled with determination. "But now we have to decide how far we want to go. Are we ready to take on the challenge of competing at a national level?" As we sit in our favorite spot on campus, contemplating our next move, Julie breaks the silence.
