Serena's POV
I eagerly waited for his response. He stared at me briefly, then shook his head. "Not that." He kept a thoughtful face. Then what? I pulled up the question in mind, hoping he would say something to answer it.
"You know I had a terrible experience while I was a kid," his mood changed to a sad face. He was curious and worried before now, right now he was sad. Seeing him with this expression, I picked up with anxiety and curiosity as he did before.
"What's that? What happened?" I breathed out, pulling him by the wrist and leading him towards the sofa. I recalled this is the same room I stood on the way and prevented him from entering, now I was the one leading him in because I so much loved stories. I loved listening to the ordeals of others, it sounded like this was gonna be one of those stories I loved to hear.
