Serena's POV 

With hopeful and meek eyes, I looked up to Carter. He was so charming, each time I looked at him, my heart would melt and my legs would swell. That's exactly the same thing I was facing right now. If not that we were familiar with each other, I would be nervous looking at him. 

"Yes, we would be keeping one to three days for this." He responded. 

"Wow, good. So I can ask questions wherever I don't understand, you or your lawyer?"  

"You would ask him here, then later on in the night, you can relate anything you still don't find comfortable to me. I'll clear all your doubts. Okay?"

I nodded in agreement. "That's perfect. I'm okay with that. When you're done, can I have a look at the contract, I'll read it through?"
