Chapter 340

Carter's POV

Deep inside of me, tension was building up, although I tried hard to push it away. 

What came to mind a moment later was the supposed court case, I needed to confirm if it was going to hold after all. My heart was beating so fast, if this was going to happen, I needed to know, prepare on time. My lawyer had to be ready to defend me, I was pushed to seek this information out from Venice. 

So I called her again, not minding that I decided not to before now. "You said you are pregnant, what happens to the court case?" This isn't what I planned, I'd made a perfect plan of going to court to show that Serena was pregnant for me, in this way I'd be able to discard Venice with a consolation amount, meant to be decided by me. 

"Venice, what happens to the court case tomorrow?" I mumbled immediately that she picked the call.

"Is that what you are after, well I've changed my mind. I insist on having you, the money isn't
