Chapter 15. New Beginning

“Is Eliana okay with this idea of yours?” I asked Jack, wanting to know if Eliana knew about his plan.

“I haven’t told her yet. I know she’ll be okay with it. You’re like her favorite uncle.” Jack said with a smile. The problem is, I’m no longer that favorite uncle. Things have changed.

“Still, it’s best if she at least knows about it. Forcing into accepting a decision you’ve made wouldn’t do any good.” I insisted. I relaxed back, folded my arms and watched him. I was certain Eliana would decline. That was my saving grace.

My worry disappeared the second I recalled what Eliana had told me last night. There was no need to worry about something that wasn’t going to happen.

“How about we go ask her now and see if she agrees?”
