My reflection in the mirror stared back at me, probably judging me for the choices I had made in my young miserable life.

I quietly packed up a few things, slid on a pair of grey sweatpants and hoodie. I had made up my mind to give Scott the space he needed. He probably needed it, the reason for his wanting to stay alone in his room yesterday.

Deep down, I blamed myself for everything, for being a pain in his ass and for being so gullible and stupid. Another part of me still wished there was some sort of explanation, an excuse to keep me going.

“Good morning, Miss.”
