The room was filled with collections of art. For a second I forgot about my anxiety as my eyes fixed on a painting of distress.
Camila’s love for art was undoubtedly the reason behind Eliana’s interest. The painting of a woman fading, pain in her eyes and hands outstretched, reaching for the hands of a child.
There was a somewhat blinding light, the child could not be seen except its little hands, bare inches away from the mom’s.
Right next to the painting, hung Camila’s portrait. It felt there was more meaning to that. The emotion from the painting could be felt simply by just looking at it. Could this mean something?
