“Are you okay, Layla?” Landon asked.

“Yes, I am. I have been feeling dizzy. I can handle champagne, it is probably because I haven’t eaten well today and my drugs are heavy,” she said.

“Alright then, let’s get you some food,” Landon said.

“Good evening, everyone. I hope everyone is having a lovely evening. The debutante ball is finally here and it is a great pleasure of mine to call out the names of the outstanding, beautiful young women that will be announced into the society of the elites today, the hostess said.

“Shut up, lady,” Riley said as she staggered as she walked to the stage with a microphone in her hand.

“Hey, get Riley off the stage,” Jack yelled.

The guard tried to hold her, but she hit him with the microphone, and he fell to the fall with blood gushing out of his face.
