Chapter 40
“You don’t need to know who I am,” a man who looked like he was in his late 40s said with an evil gleam in his eyes.
“What do you want from me?” Layla asked with fear in her eyes.
“I was instructed to kill you and bring your dead body back tomorrow morning, but you see, I am not going to do that yet,” he said with an evil smile.
“I would take you to where kidnappers like me hang out and have fun with my friends,” he said, laughing heavily.
“The boss never told us that the person we were killing was this pretty. We are going to have so much fun,” another man said. He also looked like he was in his late 40s.
“Let’s carry her inside the car,” one of them said as they grabbed her.
Layla screamed, “Leave me alone!”
One of them looked at her in disgust. “Stupid girl. Shut up,” he scoffed.
“Chauffeur, help me,” she yelled.
“He is in on it, you idiot,” the man said as he used a cloth to cover her mouth so that she couldn’t speak again.
