Chapter 43

It was a beautiful morning in the Lockwood house. Everyone made their preparations for the party while Layla stayed in her room silently with her son then she heard a knock on the door.

“Come in,” Layla said in a calm tone.

“Good morning, Miss Layla,” Dorota said calmly.

“Good morning, Dorota. What do you want?” Layla asked impatiently.

“Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood would like to see Samuel,” Dorota said, fidgeting a bit because of Layla’s demeanor.
