“What made you come up with that conclusion, Layla?” he asked in an uneasy tone.

“When we got caught by Jack that day, I felt like it was better that we push our feelings aside and focus on the task, and I still feel that way,” Layla said.

“And now that we have been able to accomplish most of it what is stopping you now?” Jack asked.

“After what happened to me today. I really do not want to be involved with any man for a week or two and I hope you would respect that,” Layla said calmly.

“I respect your decision,” Justin said with a straight face. It was obvious that he was feeling a bit tensed, but he calmed down a bit because he understood where she was coming from.

“Hello, sir, your food is ready,” the waiter said from the window as he stood there waiting for them to respond.

“Sorry,” Justin said as he rolled down the window and took the food from the waiter. Then he left a tip for the waiter.
