Chapter 89. The Rescue Mission

Jake’s POV

Alpha Scott and I returned to my pack and I immediately summoned Maxwell to gather the pack’s soldiers.

When Maxwell arrived, I briefed him on the situation and asked him to select a team of our best warriors to come with us to rescue Milan. He agreed, and within minutes, we had a team assembled and ready to go.

Alpha Scott and I led the way, with the team of warriors following closely behind us.

I knew I needed to save Milan and nothing else mattered to me. I just hoped I wasn’t too late.

We ran as fast as we could until we got to a building and hid close to the bushes so that we wouldn’t be seen by rogue werewolves.
