Chapter 125. In Another Life

“Come on,” he said, patting the space beside him. “Let’s go get cleaned up.”

After changing into a pair of yoga pants, a tank top, and flip-flops, I walked out of the bathroom. I jumped when I saw Jake sitting there, tapping his foot impatiently.

“You’re taking too long,” he complained.

I shrugged. “Sorry.”

Once dressed, I went back into the bathroom to find Jake sitting on the bed, looking at me with furrowed eyebrows. “How’s it look?” I asked.

He glanced up at me, his expression softening. “Wow… you look great.”

I grinned. “Thanks.”

I walked over to Jake, placing my hands on either side of his hips. I pressed my lips against his, slipping my tongue inside his mouth to explore. He kissed me back hungrily, sliding one of his hands under my shirt and running his fingers over my bare stomach.

Suddenly, I pushed him backwards onto the bed, climbing over top of him. I straddled his legs and continued to kiss him deeply.
