Chapter 37. More than Anything in the World

After Ethan had finished brushing his teeth, he helped me into a pair of pajamas before heading off to brush his teeth. After brushing my teeth, I wandered into Ethan’s walk-in closet and pulled out his gray Hood and sweatpants.

Once I changed, I went downstairs to check on Ethan. I found him in the kitchen making breakfast.

“Breakfast smells delicious!” I exclaimed, sitting down at the dining table.

“Thanks, I cooked it last night after your little chat this morning.” Ethan replied.

“Didn’t you fall asleep half an hour ago?” I asked, chuckling slightly.

“Yeah, but I couldn’t fall asleep without eating something.” Ethan responded.

We both laughed before taking our seats at the dining table. After we had eaten, Ethan went to collect the dishes. I went into the living room and curled up on the couch watching TV and waiting for Ethan to finish cooking.
