Chapter 38. My Only One

My eyes fluttered open as I tried to remember where I was. My eyes widened in shock when I realized that I wasn’t in Ethan’s bed.

“Ethan?” I called out, looking around the room.

I immediately got up from the bed and walked towards the balcony, my heart beating fast as I scanned the whole area, hoping to spot my boyfriend.

Furthermore, I opened the balcony doors and stepped outside, only to find Ethan sitting on the bench in front of his pool. Ethan suddenly stood up and ran towards me as soon as he saw me. Before he could even wrap his arms around me, I jumped in his arms and hugged him.

“Where were you?” I asked, burying my head in his chest.

“Oh you don’t know? Well, I thought you might like to know that I left.” Ethan replied, smirking slightly.

“Left? Where did you go?” I asked, releasing my grip from around his waist.

“Nowhere really, you wouldn’t believe it, but after I left, a young lady walked over to me and started flirting with me.
