Chapter 57. Intense Tension Between Us

“Everything alright?” He murmured.

“Yeah. Sorry.” I murmured sheepishly.

“I’m okay.”

“Don’t be sorry, love.” Ethan assured me. “If you need to talk, I am right here.”

“Thanks, love.” I leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on his lips.

“Anytime.” He whispered. “Let’s enjoy the movie.”

“Ok.” I nodded, smiling.

After the movie finished, we put away our empty bowls and drinks and headed downstairs. Once we were down in the kitchen, I sat down on one of the stools while Ethan began to clean up the empty plates and glasses.

“Have you seen anything yet?” Ethan asked me.

“No, I haven’t.” I answered.

“You should, babe. They’re pretty cool.” He told me.

“I’ll try to remember that.” I chuckled.

A minute passed by and silence engulfed the kitchen. Suddenly, I felt a warm sensation on my lower abdomen as I felt fingers gently tracing circles on the skin of my stomach.
