Chapter 59. The New Life Together

After I went upstairs, I went into my bedroom and laid down on the bed, hoping for some sleep. When I closed my eyes, I saw myself standing in the middle of the road looking at nothing in particular. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around, seeing a man approaching me.

He was tall and handsome, he wore a suit and tie and looked like he was in the business. His black hair was neatly combed, and his pale skin glowed under the bright streetlights.

Suddenly, the sound of cars interrupted the silence and my heart started beating faster. I started hearing the footsteps and people screaming, but my vision became blurry. Before I passed out, I saw the man standing over me, smiling down at me.

As I woke up, I realized that the nightmare was only a bad dream. I breathed deeply to try to calm myself down, and my hands reached down to rub my belly.
