Chapter 119. His Highness Returned

As a wind stream struck his entire body on the palace's roof, the King of Chronos gently opened his eyes. He knew it occurred because the sun rotated once every twenty-seven days. Although lying face down on the floor, he was awakened by a loud siren that echoed throughout the palace, numerous footsteps thudding nearby, and a dread voice. He then turned to look at the elevator that had just been opened and the air force coming from the stairs. 

Incredulous, Marlo exclaimed, "My King! What are you doing here?" 

The Monarch was startled to find himself at the base of a shuttle and turned to look around. "What happened? Where is Izabella?" King Drexil asked as if confused. "I told her to wait for me here, but why did she suddenly disappear? And what's the cause of that loud siren?"
