Chapter 134. Their Encounter

Izabella had been lying down for a long time, but her eyes were fixed on the ceiling as if dreaming when she heard the little turning of the lock of her bedroom doorknob. Izabella ignored that. Instead, she lay on her side with her back to the door. 

She knew her mental bully stepsister was outside even if she didn't open it. And as usual, she would be warned to stay away from Robert, the man who had been her friend for a long time. 

She breathed deeply and felt isolated as she looked at the wall of her private space. She caressed the top of her womb as the content of her dream resurfaced in her mind about the strange warrior creature playing she'd been dreaming about. Which saddened her, and she failed to be with him in her dream.
