Chapter 15. He Discovered Her Secret

"Bravo, Izabella," he chimed and stood up. "Sit down, and wait for me here. I have a phone call." Izabella swallowed when the man suddenly disappeared in front of her. That's when she realized what she saw inside her room was not a hallucination.

Is it right for me to decide to agree to marry him? Izabella asked herself while waiting for Aleksander to return. He knew what I could be soon. At least I don't need to hide anything from him since he discovered my dark secret.

Isabella was not surprised when Aleksander appeared back to his seat, except for the familiar medicine bottle the man placed on the table in front of his plate.

"Why did you take that from my bag?" She could not hide the fear in her voice. 

"Where did you get this medicine?” He quirked an eyebrow. “I searched about it, but no pharmaceutical company sells it."

"How the hell do I know? And why are you interested in knowing about it?"
