"I'm sorry for this to happen, Madam," Larry uttered apologetically. "In the three years we've managed the resort, we've only just been attacked by jungle people today. But don't worry about it. Chief can deal with them, even wild animals in the jungle."

"No doubt about that, but it's not good to be too brave even if someone like him knows how to fight. I've witnessed how ferocious those animal-like people are in the forest. Everything has a counterpart no matter how good you are," she said, unable to bear staying quiet because she didn't want him to think she was disrespectful to people like him under Aleksander's supervision. "I can't help but get annoyed with your boss because he's like a mushroom that suddenly appears in my quiet life. And now it's messy again."

She couldn't stop a smile from appearing when she heard Larry's amused laugh. She felt the shaking of his shoulders.

"Can't we go through the woods? Maybe there's a lookout of those wolves ahead of us.
