Chapter 20
I let out a scream for the fright and took a hand to my chest, my rings scratching the seam of my shirt.
"You didn't tell me if Kyra received the answers from the princes," I said, recovering some of my dignity by sitting upright and undoing the folds of my cape.
Vraxlon let out a whistle and came to sit in the chair next to my right. I wore a black shirt and pants of the same tone, quite simple, and strangely similar to my own clothes. At the top of the head, a crown made of black thorns hovered.
"Dealing with Octavius requires a lot from my worst side so that I remember to keep her informed about this important factor. Forgive me, Your Majesty. And, no, besides Octavius no one deigned to answer us.”
