Does her husband feel the pull of the mate bond the way she does? By the looks of his complete focus on Taisiya, she would say he does not even feel the mate bond to know, 'OK, my mate is around somewhere close.'

Unable to continue watching how the duo fawns over each other while her husband caresses Taisiya's stomach, eyes shining with love and adoration, making Aakifahlynn sick to her stomach.

She'd seen and heard enough. Her heart ached at the sight. Aakifahlynn called on her magic, removed herself from her husband's study, and landed by the tree line before the forest outside the castle gates.
