My room suddenly felt big, as I lay on my queen-sized bed, staring at the ceiling. The gnawing feeling that I was alone once more tugged at my heart.

My phone suddenly rang, and I frowned. Ever since I took control of this body, I hadn't given my contact details to anyone.

One glance at the screen, and seeing the clearly displayed words on it, made me blink.

My heart thudded against my chest, as I wondered why he was suddenly calling me. Did he want to finally reject me?

"Hello?" I said, softly, as I placed the phone on the table, putting it on the handsfree mode.

"Meet me at the study." That was it, and he hung up, without waiting for my response. I almost threw my phone on the floor, in anger.

I scrambled off bed, and grabbed a shawl. My movements were calm and calculated, almost controlled, as I moved out of my room.
