Time flew quickly, and soon, a month passed by. As I was dragged out of the dungeon, I maintained my silence. The silence which I had adopted, ever since I was told about Kaden's death.
"Are you feeling strong, Amber?" I heard Vera's taunting voice, ask.
"Lead her to the kitchen. There are many things she has to do." She continued.
Still, I said nothing. As the stern looking guards led me to the kitchen, I suddenly felt dizzy. A sour taste crept to the back of my throat, and I suddenly felt the urge to throw up.
"Let me go," my voice was weak, and I wasn't sure if they'd hear me.
"Are you finally talking? I thought the news about the death of your mate, has made you become dumb." Vera drew close, and laughed.
I tugged my hand away, from their tight grip. They didn't budge. "Let me go, please." I whimpered.
"What are you saying? Hurry up!" Vera led the way, her steps hurried. We soon arrived at the kitchen,
