Chapter 26. Fears of a Looming Threat

Emily’s POV

"But when are you and Jimmy planning to have kids, huh?" Amy asks provocatively, and I let out a warm laugh. I'm sitting facing Amy in the garden of my and Jimmy's house.

"It's not for lack of trying, Amy," I tease back, and Amy laughs too. "I believe we'll have many little wolves running around the house soon. It's what I wish for the most," I confess to my best friend.

"We miss you at the wolf pack. You live around Jimmy's routine…" Amy suddenly comments, and I lower my gaze to the coffee cup in front of me.

It had been a long time since I had actually visited the Blue Bay Pack. I missed my friends and my parents.

"We can go there now, I'm free for the rest of the day. Jimmy told me he'd only come home later," I informed Amy.

"Perfect! Let's go, everyone will love to see you again," Amy exclaims excitedly.

As we arrive at th
