That single word made everything click inside me.

Emily Turner had said yes.

It wasn't how I imagined my proposal to Emily. Something more significant and with a more favorable situation was ideal. But here we were, ready to have a ceremony for the good of the kingdom.

Emily Turner had a valuable ability to always put others' wishes first. The way she handled things with her sister was admirable. Despite all that Nina had done, Emily was willing to accept gracefully what her parents had decided. Emily had made a big difference in the Moon Shade Wolf Pack; I received daily reports of how she had helped the pack immensely. At first, there were people against her, but even that, Emily managed to change.

That was Emily's greatest talent. The gift of changing people. I am a clear example of that. Having her as a mate was a blessing given to me by the Moon Goddess in my life.
