Chapter 44. A Cold Declaration
Emily’s POV
"She's turned eighteen, she needs to leave," I declare firmly. "That was the agreement."
I look at my parents with a cold expression. They are both seated at the breakfast table, and Nina is quiet beside them.
"Emily, your sister found a mate last night, that changes things..." David responds calmly. Mentioning Ryan, I witness Nina's face twist in disgust. It's just a flicker of disapproval from my sister at the mention of her mate's name, an omega from our wolf pack.
I recall the few times I spoke with Ryan, a nineteen-year-old guy who was quite cheerful and polite. I don't know much about him other than that.
