Chapter 59. Sorceress's Revelation

Emily’s Pov

"Does your mother's family... are they still here?" I ask curiously.

"That's one of the reasons I came here. To search for my mother's family... maybe they could help me break the curse," Benson explains hopefully, and I blink at him in surprise.

"Break the curse? Is it possible, then?" I ask excitedly.

Benson looks at me with eyes full of expectation, and it fills my heart with love.

"I believe so. But I need to find someone from my lineage, from my mother's family, to understand better. Only a sorcerer has the ability to break the curse."

I approach Benson and rest my head on his arm; the smell of the omelet makes my stomach growl, and Benson kisses the top of my head.

"We will break this curse, Benson... I'm sure of it," I declare with conviction.

We have breakfast with more enthusiasm after Benson's revelation about breaking the curse. I
