Chapter 37. My Feelings? (2)

Sophia's POV

"Khalid!" Achilles calls out, and I can smell blood even before Khalid appears, and that makes me uneasy. "Sophia, what's wrong?" Achilles' voice calms me.

"Um... The smell of blood... It's different, and I don't like it." I replied, I know the more honest I am, the better.

I feel Khalid approaching and I twist my lips, I don't want him to touch me.

"Sophia, breathe, pay attention to me," Achilles says, but it's a bit hard to concentrate on him, as every step Khalid takes makes me even more nervous. "Move away," Achilles says, and as soon as Khalid moves away, I breathe a little easier.

"Sophia, are these your feelings?" Achilles asks me, still holding me in his hands, and I look up at him, not quite understanding. "Soph, pay attention... Why are you irritated by Khalid's presence?"

I bite my lower lip, it's a strange question because I don't know.
