Chapter 38. End of the Night

Achilles's POV

I saw Sophia taking my blood and Perseus' blood mixed, Khalid had given us a small container with several runes engraved on it and I know there's some kind of spell, but he didn't explain it properly, he just told us to mix the blood in the same 1:1 ratio, one part mine, one part Perseus', the same amount, not a drop more, and it was harder than I thought.

It sounds easy, but every time there was a drop more we saw the container glow black, and when it was finally in the right proportion the glow changed to red. As soon as Khalid saw this, he picked up the container and then had to use the command a few times to make Sophia open her lips and swallow, although her eyes were open, she simply wasn't conscious.
