Chapter 217

If it were Finn Armstrong, Lilah Hart might’ve been a little more concerned about boundaries.

But Leon Sterling? He actually gave off a trustable vibe.

He was that kind of guy—solid, respectful.

“Where Miss Taylor’s staying isn’t easy to find,” Lilah said. “I’ll have Nina go with you.”

Even if he was a decent guy, she still wasn’t gonna just let Leon drop by Heather Taylor’s place on his own.

“Got it.” Leon smiled and tossed up a casual peace sign.

After polishing off breakfast, Gabriel Wallace took Aiden to school.

Lilah had to head to the hospital later too, but she wasn’t in a rush.

Leon and Nina each carried a breakfast tray and made their way to the quiet courtyard where Heather Taylor stayed.

It was tucked a bit farther out from the main house. Lilah had actually offered her a room in the main building back then, but Heather said she liked things quiet, so Lilah found her the nicest, most peaceful little place around.
