Chapter 22

Freya's POV

Like a mother who's scared of losing her child, Trevor held my hands so tight that I could feel the grips, as we ran through the unknown and broken street.

"Where the hell in the world is this place?, This place seems so

... different." I said between gasps for breath.

Trevor looked back at me with worry in his eyes. His brown dreadlocks hair was messy and falling in his face, making him look slightly older than he really was.

Seeing the difficulties and pain that Trevor and Christine were experiencing all because of me, I was surprised that I asked myself.

"Can I risk my life for a friend like this also?. Assuming I could still be confused to do this for Christine, but what of Trevor?", I asked Myself with bafflement, thinking of all the countless bullets that have been shot towards them all for my sake today, in which each and everyone of them is enough to take away their life
