Chapter 120. Unleashed Fury
Rasmus’s POV
They took her. They took my Xerina.
The thought burned through my veins, scorching everything in its path. Every moment she was gone was a sharp knife in my chest, twisting deeper with each breath. I should have been careful. I should have been there.
I wasn’t.
I slammed my fist against the table, the wood splintering under the force. The room fell silent, my subordinates shrinking back as I glared at them. Useless. Every single one of them.
“Two weeks.” My voice was a low growl, barely contained. “It’s been two fucking weeks, and still nothing.”
Luca, Xerina’s brother, stood across from me, his face pale, eyes hollow. He looked as wrecked as I felt, but there was no time for pity. I didn’t need his brokenness. I needed action.
“You’re telling me there’s no trace of her?” I spat the words, each one laced with venom.
He flinched but didn’t respond. He knew better than to speak unless he had something worth saying.
